Create your account

One account, every Pyro site#

You create a single Pyro account at the client portal at portal.pyro.host. The portal is where you buy a game server or a VPS and handle billing, and buying a plan there is what provisions the service.

You do not register more than once. The same email and password sign you in everywhere: the portal for billing and services, the Game Server Panel at panel.pyro.host for running game servers, and the VPS Panel at vps.pyro.host for managing a VPS. Start at the portal to get an account and a service, then head to the matching panel to run it. Billing stays in the portal, covered under billing and credits.

Note: Anyone can register, there is no invite or waitlist. You sign up with your email and a password.

Signing up#

Open portal.pyro.host and choose Create account. Fill in your name, email address, and a password, add your billing details, and agree to the terms. When you submit, your account is created and you can sign in. The email you pick is the one you will use every time you come back.

Pick a password that is at least 8 characters long. You can change it later from profile and security, which is also where you turn on two-factor in the portal.

Buying your first service#

With an account in hand, order the service you want from the portal. Choose a game server or a VPS, pick a plan, and for a VPS pick a region, then check out. Once payment goes through, the portal provisions the service and it appears in the matching panel a moment later.

Not sure which one fits? The game server or VPS page walks through the trade-offs.

Signing in#

When you come back, choose Login instead of Register. Enter the email address and password for your account and submit the form. If both are correct and you have two-factor turned on, the panel moves you to the two-factor checkpoint before it lets you in.

Two-factor checkpoint#

After your password is accepted, the panel asks for a second step. Open your authenticator app, find the Pyro entry, and type the current six-digit code into the Authentication Code field. Codes rotate every 30 seconds, so if one is rejected, wait for the next code and try again. A correct code takes you to the dashboard.

Lost your 2FA device#

If you cannot reach your authenticator app, use one of the recovery codes you saved when you turned on two-factor. On the checkpoint screen, switch to the recovery code option and enter a Recovery Code in place of the authentication code.

Each recovery code works once. After you sign in this way, set up a new authenticator from profile and security and store a fresh set of codes.

Resetting your password#

If you forget your password, choose Forgot Password on the login screen and enter your account email. Pyro sends a reset link to that address. Open the email, follow the link, and set a new password.

  • Open the email and follow the reset link.
  • Set a new password that is at least 8 characters long, then confirm it.
  • Sign in with your email and the new password.

You still pass the two-factor checkpoint after a reset. The link is time-limited, so request a new one if it stops working.

Note: The reset only changes your password. It does not touch your two-factor setup, so keep your recovery codes handy.
